Privacy policy

Two things happen on this site: you call a number, or you fill in a form. This covers what each one collects, where it goes, and what is measured while you browse.

Calls are recorded

The number published here is a call-tracking number, not a line that rings in an office. Calls placed to it are recorded, and the recording plus the call metadata — the number you dialed from, the time, how long the call lasted, and the city and state your carrier reports — are retained by the call-tracking provider on behalf of this site. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form instead and say so, or ask the operator for a direct number when they call you back.

What the form collects

Your name, your phone number, the option you pick describing the situation, and whatever you type in the description box. Nothing else is required and nothing else is asked for. There is no payment field, and this site never asks for a card number, a bank detail, a date of birth or a government identifier.

Alongside that, the form records which page you were on when you submitted it, which page you first landed on, the site that referred you if any, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. That is attribution data about the visit, not about you, and it is what makes it possible to tell which pages produce real inquiries.

Where it goes

To the independent removal operator covering your address, so they can call you back and quote the job. That operator is a separate business and handles your details under their own practices, not these. A copy reaches the inbox that runs this site.

Your details are not sold. They are not passed to a lead marketplace, not shared with multiple contractors to bid against each other, and not used to add you to a mailing list.

Cookies and analytics

No advertising cookies are set by this site, nor is any advertising pixel loaded. One entry is written to your browser’s session storage to remember which page you first arrived on; it is cleared when you close the tab, and it is transmitted solely as a hidden field within a form you elect to submit. Fonts are requested from Google’s font service, which as a consequence sees your IP address, as it does on most of the web.

On pages delivered from this site’s own domain, Google Analytics is also loaded, by way of Google’s gtag.js script under measurement ID G-CBN60DEXBK. It places two first-party analytics cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_CBN60DEXBK, by which separate visits and returning browsers are told apart, and it reports to Google each page viewed (address, title and referring page), basic details of the browser and device, and a limited set of actions: a tap on a telephone number, the menu being opened, a link to request removal being followed, the form being begun, a submission accepted by the form, and arrival at the thank-you page. Nothing entered in the form, whether name, telephone number, the option chosen or the description, is passed to it; the site uses it to gauge the volume of visits and which sections are consulted, and it plays no part in handling inquiries.

How long it is kept

Form submissions and call records are kept while they are useful for handling the inquiry and for checking that the routing worked, and are removed after that. If you want your inquiry deleted sooner, call 216-438-8626 or use the form and say so, and it will be removed on request.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the changed version replaces this one on this page. There is no archive of previous versions and no notification is sent.
